EOS XSi software is a must have for this camera. Shutter always require calibration. Camera would be going to Canon Service Center without SPT software.

EOS XS SPT software allows you to read and change the camera's shutter and mirror count.
Also read the last 7 error codes and clear the camera's internal error codes. Again, SPT software is a requirement for all shops.

Chucks EOS 30D Software (SPT) is a must have tool in the Camera Repair industry. I recently took in a Canon EOS 30D that displayed err99 intermittently.
