For many years I have been changing EPROMs to get replacement boards to operate correctly. Having purchased the 40D advanced software for a camera that had been brought in with 10 lands torn from the main PCB by incorrect orientation & forceing of a CF card, I found that this software has reduced my repair time by about 5 hours.
