We have been an authorized Canon camera workshop since 1994 up until 2022 when Canon moved their repair functions to centralized workshops in Europe. We decided to continue with Canon repairs and have been looking for a software solution. We have now tested Your lens adjustment software and it’s in many ways better than Canons own version.

I have the Lens Professional Software and several plugins. I was having an issue with just one of the plugins, and despite the time differences ( I am in NZ ) , Chuck got right onto the issue quick smart ! This is important, as I had the customers lens waiting for the fix - and not something I have experienced often with software support ! Top marks to Chuck and SPT/C&C
Thanks!

Have this Canon 5D3 that has issues with the exposure. Two successive picture of the same situation, turn out completely different, 1 overexposed and one normally exposed. .... Could this be a board problem?

The solution was to change the main board in the lens. I used the SPT software to back up the original data, put in an other (used) board, reloaded the data and the occasional overexposure in a series of pictures did not occur anymore. Thanks to Eoghan who had a similar probl [...read more]

Just did the repair and alignment on the lens. The label number made perfect sense once I was in the software.
Its all there, very easy and all alignments fell right in. Testing the lens after the repair (new IS unit) and alignment was perfect

Thank You. I tried the software out last night and it a game changer for my Business. I do a lot of lens repairs for a local photo equipment rental facility and the local city government, so this is going to help me out quite a bit.

I did have one question on the 70-200 IS II v.2 ; I changed out an IS unit on lens, but im trying to figure out which Yaw and Pitch numbers in the part correspond to.

On these IS unit you get a sticker in the box when you order the par [...read more]
