Functions in Essential's Opening Page

 

Check for Updates:

• All but the earliest (20D, 300D, 350D) software has a 'check for updates' in the opening pages menu bar.  This is an important feature since it not only allows you to check for the latest versions ..  BUT .. it also allows you to import the latest updates to the error codes.  

 

• Through SPTNET we are always looking for new solutions to add to the error code lists.  This feature frees you from manually tracking (or forgetting) new additions to the problem / solution list.

Connect:
Connects the software to your camera.

Demo:
Allows you to use and view the software without connecting to the camera.

Quit
Quits the software / camera connection in the proper sequence.
