I have the Lens Professional Software and several plugins. I was having an issue with just one of the plugins, and despite the time differences ( I am in NZ ) , Chuck got right onto the issue quick smart ! This is important, as I had the customers lens waiting for the fix - and not something I have experienced often with software support ! Top marks to Chuck and SPT/C&C

I've had the 'Essentials' version of the 60D software for years, and have 'got by' with that.
Today I fitted one of the new style shutter units ( CG2-2811 ) but found that all speeds over 1000th were blank / black images !
Upgraded my SPT software to the full version - ran the shutter calibration and whammo, all speeds up to 8000th are perfect !

I already had the essential version for the 50D, but recently I had a 50D come in that was not metering. By purchasing the upgrade software I was able to view the output ( or no output in my case ! ) of the AE Matrix without touching the camera with a screwdriver ! Plus I was then able to align the new AE sensor using the software, and easily calibrate using my lightbox and the software.

As a one man shop, the networking that SPT affords to me is without equal, and so important to my ongoing operation. Access to the library and help from fellow repairers is priceless.

Just setup a 20D that was a 'hybrid' i.e. one camera made from two damaged units, was great to be able to get the exposures right and setup the serial number to match!

Checked my personal 20D too, and it's exposures read correct which was a good test for my lightbox etc.

Have used these gears on both MKI and MKII lenses with great results. With these gears NLA from Canon themselves, this is a great product to enable repair of a common impact failure on these VERY common lenses. Great work Chuck and SPT.
